“I apologize to all the women whom I
Toyed with your emotions because I was emotionless”

Jay Z has acknowledged messing up a good thing with Queen Bey after admitting he stepped out on their marriage in his 13th studio album titled, 4:44. Suspicions of Jay Z’s infidelity came after Jay Z and Bey’s sister, Solange Knowles was caught on camera fighting in an elevator after the 2014 Met Gala.

Beyoncé blasted Jay Z for his infidelity in her Lemonade album, on a track called “Don’t Hurt Yourself.” She said: “When you hurt me, you hurt yourself.” and she goes on to end the song threatening Jay Z that she’ll leave him if he cheats again, “If you try this shit again, you gon’ lose your wife.”

Jay Z wrote an open, apology letter to Beyoncé in his 5th track titled, 4:44. In this letter, he apologizes for being a bad husband and the possibility of cheating on her. With Hannah Williams on the chorus singing, “I’m never gonna treat you, never gonna treat you like I should,” Jay Z extends an apology to Beyoncé, “I apologize, our love was one for the ages and I contained us.”

Now that everything about Jay and Bey’s relationship is out in the open, we’re hopeful they’ll continue being this transparent in the future.
