Kathy, Kathy, Kathy.. now you knew better!
Kathy Griffin has gotten herself into deep shxt with the American people after posting a gruesome photo of her holding a mock up of President Trump’s “decapitated” head as a joke on her Instagram yesterday.
But the gag is… it’s wasn’t funny!
Griffin issued an apology Tuesday night for the provocative image. “I sincerely apologize I am just now seeing the reaction of these images,” she said of the picture. “I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far.”
Griffin received major backlash and criticism from celebrities alike over the shocking photo, including Donald Trump and his son.
Mitt Romney also gave his two cents.
Even Griffin’s New Years Eve co-host, Anderson Cooper chimed in on the madness, calling the photo “completely inappropriate.”
Griffin, an outspoken critic of Trump, knew the images would be controversial, which explains why she decided to team up with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields to conduct the photo shoot, but now she’s asking him to take down the photo.
Well little does Kathy know, she just placed herself on the secret service’s watch list because it’s illegal to threaten the president. Her joke may have been funny to her, but it’s never funny to joke about killing our President.
